Red Lake Area Fishing Regulations:
Medicine Stone Conservation Fishing Policy
We have implemented a size ruling on the Medicine Stone Lake System and at the outpost camps whereby you are not allowed to keep any walleye over 18" and no northern pike over 27" and no lake trout over 22". Only two walleyes per day per guest for consumption is permitted. This has been implemented to ensure the fishing remains top notch for years to come. Read More...

Limit: 4 Walleye with a sport license. 2 Walleye with a conservation license.
Restrictions: Only 1 fish can be greater than 18 inches.
Open Season: May 15 (3rd Saturday) to December 31 - January 1 to April 14

Northern Pike Regulations:
Limit: 4 pike with a sport license. 2 pike with a conservation license.
Restrictions: · No fish between 27.5 in. and 35.5 inches and only one greater than 35.5 in.

Lake Trout Regulations:
Limit: 2 Lake Trout with a sport license. 1 Lake Trout with a conservation license.
Restrictions: Only 1 fish can be greater than 22 inches from September 1 to September 30.
Open Season: January 1 to September 30.

Muskie Regulations:
Limit: 1 Muskie in your possession with a sport license and zero with a conservation license
Restrictions: Muskie needs to be greater than 36 inches.

Limit & Restrictions for Sport License: 4 bass - no size limit from July 1 - Nov. 30 (2 bass - must be less than 35 cm (13.8 in.) from Jan. 1 - June 30 & Dec. 1 - Dec. 31)
